Unique I deal Technology
In the course of exploration and development in the past 60 years, the unique “I deal Technology” system has been developed through the inheritance, development, innovation and integration of SINOPEC geophysical technology, and a complete technology chain has been constructed.
  • I-Fine
  • To meet the demands for fine exploration in mature oilfields in eastern China,SSC has developed the fine seismic exploration technology characterized by near-surface fine modeling and high-density acquisition and processing, which becomes an important support for mature oilfield to increase the reserves and stabilize the production.
  • I-Reservoir
  • To better serve oil & gas production, SSC promoted borehole and surface reservoir geophysical technologies to help finding residual oil, optimizing production scheme, and enhancing oil recovery.
  • I-Unconventional
  • SSC has developed a series of unconventional reservoir technologies like petrophysical analysis, “sweet-spot” prediction, micro-seismic monitoring to conduct the exploration specific to unconventional resources such as coal bed methane, shale gas, tight sandstone oil/gas, etc..
  • I-Offshore
  • SSC has carried out domestic and international geophysical exploration in transition zones and sea areas, developing technical series in the fields as transition zone seismic exploration, marine seismic exploration, marine geological survey and engineering investigation.
  • I-Complex
  • To solve exploration problems met in complex surface/structure and complicated reservoirs in western China and southern China, SSC developed a set of seismic exploration technologies appropriate for the complex areas and complicated oil/gas reservoirs and played an irreplaceable role in exploring new areas.
  • I-Experiment
  • SSC developed a suite of technologies about seismic modeling and petrophysical analyses to meet the practical requirements of modern geophysical technical researches and oil/gas development. The technologies have advantages in rugged topography seismic modeling, complex structure modeling, carbonate fracture-cave reservoir modeling, reservoir fluid detection and simulation, and unconventional reservoir study, which have laid a solid foundation for geophysical theories research, technical research & development and applications in geophysics.
