Broadband High-Efficiency Vibroseis Seismic Exploration Technology has emerged as a transformative force in modern geophysical acquisition, revolutionizing the pursuit of superior data quality, accelerated timelines, and operational excellence. Since its widespread adoption in 2021, this advanced methodology has enabled seamless full-vibroseis deployment across all seismic surveys in the Junggar Basin, marking a new era in land-based exploration. It has also served as a strategic enabler for international collaboration, empowering partnerships with global energy leaders such as Saudi Aramco. During the landmark Saudi S84 project, the integration of this technology with high-speed slip-sweep techniques achieved unprecedented productivity—shattering Sinopec’s daily vibroseis output records on seven separate occasions and exceeding Saudi Aramco’s rigorous geophysical production benchmarks five times, a testament to its unparalleled performance and reliability.
Offshore Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) 3D Acquisition Technology
Offshore Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) 3D Acquisition Technology has enabled Sinopec to establish an independent offshore OBN seismic acquisition and operational framework, overcoming technical monopolies held by international oil companies and filling a critical technological gap in Sinopec’s offshore exploration capabilities. This technology achieves precise identification of reservoirs exceeding 15 meters in thickness, effectively supports optimal well placement, and played a key role in the successful testing of the Hai-3 deviated well, which yielded a flow rate of 1,010 cubic meters per day of oil equivalent.
