Integrated drilling technologies for shale gas, high acid, oil/gas, tight oil/gas and CBM have been developed; integrated drilling capabilities for serving special oil/gas fields such as shale gas and high acid gas fields have been built.

Typical projects:Puguang gas field, Yuanba acid gas field, Fuling shale gas field, Yanchuannan CBM field.

Deep and Ultra-Deep Wells Drilling Services

Integrated untra-deep drilling completion technologies for ultra-deep well design ,drilling accelerating, drilling and cementing have been developed; capabilities for serving ultra-deep wells have been captured.

Record of the deepest vertical wells (also the deepest relevant record in Asia): Mashen No.1 Well, Depth of 8,418 meters, in 2016.

Managed Pressure Drilling

Integrated managed pressure drilling technologies for air drilling, mist drilling, foam and liquid underbalanced drilling; capabilities for providing managed pressure drilling technical services have been captured.

The longest air drilling phase: 3829.11 meters of Yuanlu No. 3 Well drilled in 2011.

The deepest air drilling well: 5173.50 meter of Hashen No.2 Well drilled in 2014..

Downhole Monitoring and Complex Structural Well

Independent patent products for MWD, LWD, geo-steering and vertical drilling have been manufactured; drilling technologies for directional drilling, extended reach drilling, horizontal wells, multilateral wells and cluster wells have been developed; capabilities of providing technical services for complex structure wells have been captured.

The deepest horizontal well: 7971meter of Yuanba 101-1H Well, drilled in 2013.

The most shallow vertical depth well: 157.05 meter of Lou 3-9H Well, drilled in 2013.

The biggest horizontal well displacement TVD ratio: 4.02 of Gaoping No.1 Well, drilled in 2010.

The most multilaterals of multilateral wells:23 of SJ39-H1 Well, made in 2013.

Drilling Fluids for Complex Formation

Mature drilling completion systems consisted of water based drilling fluid, oil based drilling fluid, ultra high temperature and ultra-high density drilling fluid, Environment-friendly high-temperature modified starch drilling fluid and clay-free drilling fluid have been developed; capability of providing drilling completion fluid technical services for complex structures under high temperature, high pressure, water-sensitivity and collapse.

Highest temperature of drilling fluid:236℃, Mishen No.1 Well, drilled in 2008.

Densest drilling fluid:2.87g/cm³, Gongshen No.1 Well.

Cementing for Complex Wells

Developed cementing technologies for extra-density, complex low density, anti-fluid-channeling and self-healing, etc., capable of providing cementing services for ultra-deep wells under various complex formations.

Maximum temperature for cementing concrete: 235 ℃, Shenghe No.1 Well in 2017.

Maximum density for cementing concrete:2.82g/cm³, Wen 72-421 Well.
