Ultra-Deep Well Drilling & Completion Technology
Innovatively developed eight key technologies for ultra-deep well drilling and completion, including formation-specific drilling acceleration and advanced wellbore strengthening techniques. Achieved more than 60 technical breakthroughs, setting the Asian record for the greatest vertical depth in an onshore directional well. Recognized with the National Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress and awarded 59 patents. Over the past decade, successfully completed 167 wells exceeding 8,000 meters in depth, including 14 wells surpassing 9,000 meters, providing critical technological support for the development of major deep-resource projects such as the Shunbei Oil & Gas Field ("Deep Earth No. 1") and the Yuanba Gas Field.
Complex Structure Well Drilling & Completion Technology
Pioneered technologies for intensive cluster wells, long lateral horizontal wells, extended-reach wells, and multilateral wells. Established more than 20 domestic records, including the longest lateral in a shale gas horizontal well, the largest horizontal-to-vertical ratio in onshore drilling, and the most cluster wells in a single pad. Effectively enabled the development of mature fields in eastern China, tight oil and gas reservoirs, and shale oil reservoirs. In the heavy oil blocks of the Junggar Basin, the application of fishbone multilateral well technology significantly increased average daily production per well, with cyclic steam stimulation boosting average oil production per well by 181%.
Leak Prevention and Control Technology in Complex Geological Environments
Independently developed high-performance sealing agents and established nine key technologies, including rapid-seal lost circulation control and oil-based drilling fluid consolidation methods. To meet diverse reservoir development needs, iteratively developed eight high-performance drilling fluid systems, including synthetic-based fluids for shale oil and mineral oil-based fluids for shale gas. Deployed in over 1,100 wells across key operational areas in the "Three North Regions and Sichuan", achieving a first-attempt success rate in leak control exceeding 80%.
Idrilling (Yinglong) Scientific Drilling System
This system integrates intelligent pre-drill design, real-time optimization during drilling, and dynamic post-drill iteration. Deployed in 411 wells, it has increased the average rate of penetration by 19.42% and reduced the average drilling cycle by 12.67, enabling a comprehensive shift from experience-based to science-based drilling.
